Mother’s Day French Toast

Breakfast in bed is not just a Mother’s Day tradition; it’s practically a law at this point. And what better way to say thanks to Mum than to spoil her with a delicious breakfast made with Dairy Dairy milk. This decadent Mother’s Day French toast uses a rich, milky custard to create a sweet breakfast treat that will tickle Mum’s tastebuds!


  • 2 large eggs
  • ½  cup water
  • 1 ½ tbsps Dairy Dairy Full Cream milk powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • ½  tsp ground cinnamon
  • 6 thick-cut slices of bread


In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, water, Dairy Dairy Full Cream milk powder, vanilla essence, and ground cinnamon until well combined.

Dip each slice of bread into the egg & milk mixture, ensuring both sides are evenly coated.

Place the coated bread slices onto a pan preheated on medium heat.

Cook the French toast for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked.

Grab a tray, create a beautiful table setting and serve the French toast to Mum while it’s hot. Garnish with your favourite toppings such as fresh fruit, whipped cream or maple syrup.
