Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Dairy Dairy Full Cream
  • 2¼ cups flour
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • ½ tsp ground cardamom
  • ½ cup butter, cold and cubed

Barfi drizzle

  • 1½ tbsp water
  • 3 tbsp Dairy Dairy Full Cream
  • 3 tbsp icing sugar
  • 1 pinch ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch ground ginger
  • Sprinkles

Directions

In a small bowl combine Dairy Dairy and water, then set aside.

To a large bowl add flour, ginger, cardamom and butter. Cut butter into flour until a crumbly mixture is formed.

Add Dairy Dairy and condensed milk to the flour mixture and stir to incorporate before lightly kneading the dough for 1 minute.

Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, pinch off approx 1½ tbsp pieces of dough and form the gulab jamun.

Fry on medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes until golden brown.

Allow gulab jamun to cool and prepare the barfi drizzle by combining water, Dairy Dairy, icing sugar and spices.

Drizzle the barfi mixture over the cooled gulab jamun and decorate with sprinkles.
