Traditional Trifle
Moist and flavourful, trifle is one of those traditional desserts that brings everyone running to the table. Layered with a delicious custard, fruit and chunks of sponge cake, what’s not to love?
Ingredients
- 8 tbsp Dairy Dairy Full Cream milk powder
- ¼ cups custard powder
- 2 ½ cups water
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 8-inch sponge cake, cubed (can be store-bought or made fresh)
- 2 (15-ounce) cans fruit cocktail, drained
- 2 cups whipped cream, for topping
- Fresh strawberries, for topping
